LOGIN
Unable to login? Remember that username is exactly your name (as you typed it... with or withour uppercase, spaces and so on).
Belove the login module you can find useful 'reminder' links.. if you've forgotten username or password. Account with chinese symbols typed in the name-field may have troubles. Replace them with normal characters. Still having troubles? On the left menu you can find a page where you can write me, even if you're not logged-in. I will solve your eventual troubles.
CHAT
To use chat tool you've to be registered and logged-in. In chat you can see only your friends (who are not setted on invisible).
You don't receive messages or if you often receive them late? Use chat from the home-page only, and refresh the page (F5) every 1 or 2 minutes. In this way it will perfectly work.
To change your status (available, busy etc...) just click on the small arrow near your name. Pass the mouse on the name of a friend who is in chat, and stop: after 1 second will appear her/his photo. Clicking on the foto you will enter his/her profile. Some computer works only the second time you pass over it with the mouse.
Amicina POINTS
Could you buy points? NO, Amicina accepts NO money and wants to be free for everyone.
How to earn points? Logging-in , writing in the forum, inviting friends.
Sending invites to the same mail (or your mail) many times just to earn points is NOT allowed.
Every user who will register thanks to your invite, will make you earn (many) points.
GIFTS
When you're in a profile-page of a user, there's a small gift-packet on top-right. Clicking it you can decide to send a gift to that user. Points are necessary to send gifts. IF you've received a gift, a tab called "gifts" will appear in the bottom of your profile page.
SLOW WEBSITE?
Amicina structure is well realized and low-weight. Several tests were made, also from chinese servers. Both server response and time to load a page are low. Maximum 3.45 seconds from China. About 1 second for Italian users.
Actual server is cheap, so a temporarly speed-loss could eventually happen, sometime.
"rate limit exceeded"
For the previous reason (cheap server) if you get a blank page with this error, don't worry and simply refresh page (f5)

MAIL NOTIFICATION ABOUT FORUM (in correct or wrong language)
What to do when you receive a notification from FORUM? Click on the link you find in the mail. Login (on the left, above the main menu). Choose the right language (top-left)... look for the last message written in that page: that's the reason why you received a notification.
USERS SEEMS DO NOT REPLY YOU?
When you write a message to someone, or reply in the forum, or leave a comment on a guestbook or request a friendship, a mail-notification is sent to the other interested user.
In which language is this mail sent? in the same language you're using on the website in that moment !
If you want to be completely SURE that another user will understand the notification-mail, you should change language before do that action.
So, it's clear that english version of the site is longer the better one to use for a perfect interaction. Italian and chinese versions are available ONLY for people not able to talk english.
Anyway you've also to consider that not EVERY mail-account accepts mail notification (unfortunately) so it could also happens that a user has not received your notification.
IS HE/SHE ONLINE OR NOT?
If you know for sure that a user is no more in Amicina, or in chat, but you can still see he/she "online" (green icon) from his/her profile page is for the following reason:
think to someone in office (working) who has to suddendly close the website..
or think to someone who closed Amicina and 2 minutes after receives an e-mail notification from the site..
or think to someone who looses internet-connection for a moment..
in these and other situations would be annoying to login again, right? So after you've used Amicina, for some minutes you'll be allowed to enter it and use it again without the need to login anymore.
In that condition a certain user could appear online even if is not.
PROFILE PAGE & MENUs
Very important: from YOUR page profile you have a personal menu (bottom of the page) with: friendship management, your guestbook, gifts (if you've received any), your informations , your love situation etc
Notice this: when you are in the profile-page of ANOTHER user (=not your page), the bottom menu is different: there you can see the informations of THAT user, the guestbook and so on of THAT user In the same way available actions change: you can send him/her private message, request for friendship and so on..
COMPLETING YOUR PROFILE
If you enter your profile-page you'll se a progress bar (bottom of the page) showing you your profile completeness. Click "Edit" to complete it. Some tabs open. What to do then?
Enable CB Profile Navigator (yes/no) : Do you want to see the arrows for previous/next user when you're in a profile-page? (choose, yes is suggested)
MAIN PHOTO --> needs no explanations...
USER STATUS --> are all informations correct? if yes, don't touch anything. NOT needed to write the password (!) even if you see the password-fields empty
Contact Info --> here, if you want, you can select your preferred language for the site ("Front-end Language"). Don't touch anything of the rest.
GUESTBOOK --> all three values are strongly recommended to be setted on "YES"
LOVE --> needs no explanations...
INTERESTS --> needs no explanations...
OTHER INFOS --> needs no explanations...
PRIVACY
Visitors (=people not registered on Amicina, or users who had not logged-in) will be able to see: the forum, your photo, the basic informations you have entered during registration (e-mail contact and birthday-year excluded) and your friends.
Registered users (logged-in) will be able to see the previous informations and: gifts you've sent or received, your guestbook or comments you've left to someone. If you've completed your profile with your interests, love informations and contacts (mail, personal website etc) they will be visible too.
Registered users accept these conditions. Amicina does NOT pass your informations to other. Your email could be used by Amicina to contact you in case of need.

You receive mail notification for everything BUT If you leave a comment on a user's guestbook and he/she replies to your comment, you will NOT receive an email notification. So, keep controlled his/her giestbook.

What to do when you receive a notification? Click on the link you find in the mail. Login (on the left, above the main menu). Choose the right language (top-left) and take the right action (for example accept the friendship request, reply to the message etc etc).

Registered users have to mantain a REAL univoque profile, and possibly to keep it updated.
The service could be subjected to interruptions for disfunctions or mantaining needs. Being a free service users can't claim any rights on eventual technical malfunctions or troubles derived by Amicina.
- Excluding the website www.grafica-corby.com and www.fotomodellami.com, Amicina is no way responsable for contents (or accessing) to other external linked websites. Eventual services showed on www.grafica-corby.com have to be considered ONLY as a demo-portfolio aimed to show graphic-skills.
- User who behaves incorrectly towards an under-aged user (if eventually present on the site) is fully (and ONLY ONE) responsable of his/her actions.
- Each user is fully responsable of his/her actions. Eventual problems (cheats or any kind of bad actions) that an ill-intentioned user can create towards other users (inside the website or even outside, after a contact created in Amicina) is not responsability of Amicina.
